Romeoville Community Credit Union began in 1969 when 20 people met in the United Presbyterian Church of Romeoville Social Hall and applied to the State of Illinois, Department of Financial Institutions for a Charter as a Community Credit Union. The church sponsored Romeoville Community Credit Union as the area’s oldest full service financial institution.
