About Us

Romeoville Community Credit Union began in 1969 when 20 people met in the United Presbyterian Church of Romeoville's Social Hall and applied to the State of Illinois, Department of Financial Institutions for a Charter as a Community Credit Union. The church sponsored rccu as the area's oldest full service financial institution.

How to Join

Come in to our lobby at 2 Belmont Drive during hours of operation to join the Romeoville Community Credit Union. Bring a current state issued photo ID or drivers license with your current Romeoville address. If you are eligible by your employer bring a current state issued photo ID or drivers license and a current pay stub showing your employer's Romeoville address. Also bring in at least $25 the minimum balance for your share membership requirement.  If you are opening a joint account bring all parties to be added to the account with state issued photo ID. You'll also need your social security number.



Romeoville Community Credit Union's field of membership is anyone who lives or works in Romeoville Illinois. Also anyone who has immediate family that is a member of Romeoville Community Credit Union.  Once a member, always a member, regardless of where you work or live, as long as you keep your account open.
